      Please leave feedback if you are interested in a Tennessee Rex as a pet. As a result of  “out crossing” to broaden the gene pool there will be cats produced that will not have curly hair, but instead only carry the gene in its recessive state. These cats will have to have loving homes also. To address this, the Utrex cattery has implemented a standard policy of requiring anyone that wishes to purchase a Tennessee Rex to also take a non-standard cat for adoption from the cattery if one is available. This includes adult cats and kittens. It is like a buy one and get one free deal. An added plus to adopting a non-standard T-Rex is the T-Rex will have a little buddy to keep them company when you have to leave them at home. All Tennessee Rex pets will be spayed or neutered before being released from the Utrex cattery. The Utrex cattery will work closely with the International Tennessee Rex Society, Inc. to help promote the breed.
